She kissed him easily, not fighting off the second kiss whatsoever. Though she did punch him in the arm when he apologized for not crying. It wasn't a hard punch. Not really. "Shut up. It was just really thoughtful okay." She scrunched her nose at him, before she turned back to her muffin and coffee, because she actually felt like finishing them now. "Vodka's a good choice. It's my favorite." She commented, doing her best to be nice and light hearted since it had been so long since the two of them could just be together, without her being depressed.
With the muffin finished, she took a sip of her coffee and then turned her attention to Alec. "You're such an ass, but an amazingly thoughtful ass. I'm serious - I love this gift. It'll be nice... not having to worry that you're -- " She stopped herself from continuing that sentence, standing up and making her way back to the kitchen. "I'll always know you're safe, and you'll know I'm safe. Technology these days, so fucking awesome." She grabbed two more muffins, and made her way back to the couch - this time, though, she flopped down with her legs over Alec's lap and handed him one of the muffins.
"I wish we could just lay here all day." She said with a sigh.
