She'd made muffins. It didn't look like she'd eaten any, but she'd made muffins. And she was blushing. He went for the muffins, eying them before picking one up. "You eat a muffin?" He asked, and then paused because that was not a subtle way of checking up on her at all. He grabbed a mountain dew from the fridge before returning to her. When he returned to her, he withdrew a small box from his pocket and set it on the table. It was what he'd gotten her. It looked like the box belonging to something expensive and romantic. It wasn't quite that. He wasn't sure if they were at that level yet. "Are we gonna do this at the same time, or do you wanna go first? Because that's what I got you. Completely paid for, even. You're welcome, m'lady," he said, doing a short bow before sitting down again.
