"I think it might be a good idea. I mean, it could be the day making it stronger, but you said it was getting worse even before today." Honey bit her lip a little, hoping he didn't think she was lecturing him or telling him what to do. She in no way wanted to force Seb to do things that would make him uncomfortable, but it was clear she was worried, though her main concern was trying to make sure he was alright. There was still a light sheen of sweat over his skin, and Honey could tell that he was still slightly on edge each time she discreetly studied him as he spoke.
It might have been strange that she reached for Seb's hand, but it felt right. Even though his moment of surprise managed to fill her skin with an uncharacteristic flush, she was relieve when he returned the squeeze. Sometimes she just acted first and didn't think, especially when it came to physical contact. Honey was always comforted by touch, so she often forgot others might not share the same trait.
"I get it. I hate thinking about what it must have been like before. I've heard stories, and it's just sad. I'm glad we're able to have this now, but I often feel guilty when I think of the price others had to pay."
