Jianna found herself glad when Thursday rolled around. Everything was off to a rocky start this week following Knox's departure, and she had always thought as Thursdays as the essential prep day for weekend fun. Wednesdays were the true middle ground, having the lighter feel to them than Monday or Tuesday, yet there still seemed to be anticipation for the weekend. Thursday took it one step closer, dangling all the fun and lack of classes right in front of you, but keeping it just out of reach still. She didn't have big plans or anything, but Christmas was rapidly approaching, which meant Christmas break along with it. She actually still had to talk to Ori regarding what their family was doing. Going home was always an option, but Jia wasn't sure that's what she wanted. She loved her parents, of course, but it was nice to switch things up every once in awhile. Maybe she could go to Ori's.
All of her homework was done, so she decided to head down to the rec room rather than pop in her latest video game. It wasn't that she disliked Rosalyn's company, but the girl had gone shopping with her sister and Jia wanted a change of scenery. The four walls of her room were starting to feel like they were closing in. As she made her way to the rec room, a few of the younger students gave her a wide berth, reminding her of when she'd first arrived at Willowbrook. Everyone had acted like she was dangerous; as if she would literally just explode any second, and that fear hadn't worn off completely when she was cleared from solitary. She was used to it, but that didn't make it any less annoying. The rec room wasn't empty either when she arrived, but Jia wasn't fazed. She merely plopped herself down on one of the couches and regarded her new companion.
