"You never tried to eat spaghetti raw as a kid?" He asked, shocked. He didn't think it was that weird of a thing to do - he'd seen another kid try and do it and so he had thought, why not?. Kaoru would try almost anything once, and was much more inclined if he'd seen someone else do it and come out fine. Which really isn't the way to determine if you should do something or not but you know. He was a dumb teenager, what else did you expect? Especially from kids stuck at a boarding school who sometimes went out into a large city that really wasn't overly fun for people their age? He and his friends were like the up and coming new Jackass stars.
Kaoru also wasn't shy when it came to touching. Sure, he would never touch someone inappropriately if they weren't clear on if they wanted it or not, but taking someone's hand or wrist or putting a hand on their shoulder or something weren't touches he deemed inappropriate. Aside from taking someone's hand, all the other touches were actually pretty impersonal. He only strayed away from those who seemed to have touch phobias. Or surprise triggers. Because he'd made that mistake once one too many times. "Aw come on. You have to share." He prodded, after she claimed she didn't know any secrets.
"I can." He chided, at her confession. He actually could, too. For some reason he had been incredibly feminine when he was younger. He walked in Rasmita's heels, he braided her hair, and she'd let him paint her nails a few times even though he was terrible at it. That was probably how they knew he wasn't as artistic as his brothers. He couldn't draw or paint in the lines for crap.
She went ahead and told him about how she had walked into their room (well, phased in) and seen Micah naked while trying to get her hairbrush. Kaoru couldn't help but let out a genuine laugh at that, leaning back against the couch as he did so. "Oh my God. Please, no more details on that. And see, this is why you should knock, Jade. You've caught us both in the shower, now. You're lucky I even had the towel at all." He poked her side, laughing still.
"Okay, okay. I am genuinely terrified of ghosts. You put on a paranormal horror movie and I might just cry." He admitted. He wasn't sure why he had such a fear of ghosts, but it was there. Irrational and all, it was very, very much there. "Your turn."
