He might like to embarrass girls, but not to the point where they were too afraid to be around him, or to the point that they got angry. A little here and there wasn't so bad, it was fun and girls even kind of liked it sometimes. But too much and it would ruin the whole flirtation experience. K-roo had these things down to a science, practically.
"I can't cook, it's no secret." He laughed, looking in his fridge to see if there was anything he could just re-heat, but their supply of leftovers was nonexistent. So, he went about looking through cupboards as Jade stood by the counter and he sighed. "Dude, honestly, I think we might be safe with spaghetti. I don't think I can poison us with that. But maybe we'll just use butter, salt, and pepper as sauce. Because I don't know how long that jar of pasta sauce has been open in the fridge for." Forever, more than likely. He wasn't even sure it was his.
But if they were going to cook, he couldn't wear his sweatshirt. For two reasons - one, because he'd probably catch a sleeve on fire, and two, because it would be hot as balls with the heater on AND standing next to an open flame, so he went ahead and stripped that off before even trying to cook. "Is it too hot in here? You look flushed." He said, trying to make it sound innocent despite how not innocent it was.
"I'll turn the heat down a little. Cooking is going to make it way too hot in here." Why, yes, Jade, everything that comes out of Kaoru's mouth is some sort of innuendo or double entendre.
