"Some of the classic stuff is beautiful, but the crap these recruits are playing makes me want to scream." He admitted. It was difficult to irritate Nate, but bad music was one of those ways. It made his ears hurt. But Nate also legitimately had holiday cheer, which was unusual. He knew when people were faking their holiday happy, but it wasn't the holidays that really made Nathaniel cheerful - it was those few people who were legitimately happier, those he could tell were happy to give and celebrate, that warmed his heart.
He hadn't meant to cut Caleb off from speaking more, but doughnuts were more distracting to Nate than a gorgeous woman. He would always look at a doughnut first, that's just how he was. "Yes. Yes I expect so." Though he could legitimately probably consume all that they had left. Doughnuts were like Nate's cocaine. Except less expensive and the side effects were - well, in the long run, nearly as bad. Doughnut consumption would likely be the death of him if he were to die of a natural cause.
"I don't know how no one else appreciates doughnuts as much as I do. But you were saying something?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at the man he definitely considered his best friend.
