The removal of the drug made her body heavy with exhaustion and her headache. Her hand released she laid back on the couch. It took too much energy for her to sit up, but the little voice in her mind put down its foot in stubbornness. No sleeping at her parent's place. She wasn't a child anymore. And her younger siblings didn't need to see her be in trouble. They had their own failures to look forward to without learning from her own.
Viola kept her hazel eyes to the ground, hands folded in her lap. "I went off campus, tried to get into a club, met some people who took me to the Rave." She shrugged, not wanting to give more detailed descriptions to her father. "At some point I was given the drugs... Time immediately felt weird, but I'm not sure if that was me or the drugs. And I was outside when I seemingly lost control of my beams."
Her words came quickly, low in her voice. Viola was being as stubborn as always, but her posture showed her regret of her actions. She just didn't want to admit it out loud. She was still pissed about getting caught over anything else and more so the stupid rules of the campus.
