Viola felt her bloodstream being manipulated, charged with an energy not her own. Anyone else and she might not have noticed, any other drug and she definitely wouldn't have noticed, but given she too had such an ability- even if it didn't work as well or that way for her- Viola was acutely aware of his power affecting her.
The world would become slowly more dull than it had been as he rid her system of the drugs. X had made everything bright and wonderful and out of the world, it was strange to think of her world being bland considering what they were.
"I didn't even know what it was." She answered truthfully, the fake energy pulling away from her and replaced with a soreness in her jaw that she had not noticed before. Viola wanted to pull her hand away, but knew she shouldn't. There was a time to fight and a time to give up. Looking away from her father, towards everything else in the living room, Viola finally realized the trouble she was in as she regained normality. The air around them was thick with the simmering anger that hid beneath the surface of his quiet nature.
