"Oh no, it's all right. Don't worry about it, man." Bailey shook her head, smiling. It had been the decent thing to do. As she watches him get closer to the locker room, she's very sure of that now. In fact, she feels very good about herself. She's done a good thing today. It's not unlike saving a kitten or a drowning puppy. Bob did look the part, too.
At the offer of something hot, she pauses. She sways a little, visibly considering her options, lips rolling together thoughtfully. It would be good. It's certainly the right weather for it. But it has been a long week, and on top of doing absolutely nothing productive, she feels a very pressing need for a nap in the near future.
"Hey, can I get a raincheck, maybe? I mean, you probably want to take a shower that's actually warm and stuff and I, uh, got a lot of homework." Yeah. That sounded responsible. She backs up a few steps towards the stairs they've just climbed. "I mean, it's not like I can go anywhere anyways, so whenever we're both around? I'll let you know."
The conversation rings a little strange to her as she prepares to go, but it's a good strange. She never expected to make a friend today, nevertheless one of the most normal she's met yet. No tentacles, falling snow, arcing electricity... just a groundsman named Bob. She smiles again, waving her free hand before she turns to head back down the stairs. "Feel better, Bob."
