Ben looked around. It was rather generic. He hadn't made this apartment a 'home'. There were few personal touches. Some fabrics he liked on the bed and couch, a picture of his mom and sister, a few photos of his horses with him as a child, and that was it. Nothing else to tell the world that Ben lived here. He just didn't care much about stuff. He didn't collect anything but horses. He was also exceptionally tidy. "You'll have to help me. I don't know anything about decorating. I've never had to do it. Wasn't allowed to at home, and there were strict rules about personal decorations when I was at boarding school and in college."
"There are a few I've visited. Lesser known places. You have to know people to find them." The gay community was good at staying hidden when they wanted to. And Ben was cautious.
