He shoved the last of the biscuit in his mouth and wiped his hands off on his jacket, chewing as he fished around in his pocket for his map of the zoo again. The 'not the way we came' path was pretty easy to figure out, but after that things got a little more complicated. Hence the map.
King finished chewing, swallowed, and pointed at the map to help himself figure out where they were. "We can take this path through the Himalayas, up past Tiger Mountain, go around the Zoo Center, through Madagascar, and then around to where they keep all of the birds."
He held the map down to look at Cordelia. "It sounds like quite an adventure when I say it like that, doesn't it? Half-expect to come across David Livingstone somewhere along the path. Maybe that'll be the name of one of the red pandas. If I had a red panda I'd name it David Livingstone."
Suddenly King pointed to her. "He was Scottish, Livingstone. I don't remember from where, but he was Scottish. His name is a giveaway anyway. Lots of 'stone' names from Scotland."
