Well, she had certainly been looking forward to a trolley ride but there weren't any. She wasn't unaccustomed to walking long distances, though, so she took no mind when they had to walk around the enormous zoo. As requested, Cordelia dressed warmly enough for what the weather was, and included a hood just in case it rained, as it had been off and on. Delia had prepared as well, and had brought a few snacks for herself and King, if he so needed it.
She followed him easily as he lead her on the way towards the Lions, watching as things either braved the chill weather or slept happily. He asked about Scotland and if there were many Zoo's there and Cordelia shook her head. "Nah. Yeh saw tha one in Edinburgh, we 'ad one in Glasgow, and there's maybeh two er three others." She had been to the one in Glasgow a few times, mostly on field trips with her classmates, but she'd been to the Edinburgh one for fun, when she was older.
"If yer stuck fer time, we can go play wif the penguins. But if yeh have some time, we can do both, yeah?" She didn't mind the walk, really, though the trolley certainly sounded nice. But there was nothing wrong with getting a bit of exercise and the walking certainly helped her keep warm.
