Roman noticed the fluctuation in powers, his gaze on his brother. He didn't know what the other's trigger was. Roman's mimicry catching it and going 'yes, please, I'll take that.' Not that they had anyone but each other to negate, but whatever mutant could have come into the place would have been shut down immediately.
The attempt at changing the subject and lighting his outburst had not been as effective as he had wanted it to be. Pressing his lips together, he ran his tongue over his teeth. "I-" He couldn't say what he wanted to. "I couldn't stand it if you were hurt, Bob. I don't trust myself on what would happened if I found out that you- Please, promise me you will head back to the campus and follow my instructions." He sighed. "I know I am not giving you much to go on and all you know is the hate for my job and position, but I need you to trust me. I need you to listen to me for once."
Standing up, Roman put down cash for their drinks. He placed his hand on Bob's shoulder, gripping it as an extension for the emotions he couldn't allow himself to express. "I'm going to set off some pheromones in your system, do not try to negate me. It will help you get back to campus as safely as I can offer."
Pulling a card out of his jacket pocket, he handed it to Robert. To the naked eye, all it had was a cell number on it in plain writing. It would take Harper to be able to pick up the other information he ingrained on it- like an animal leaves information for others. After a minute of setting certain territory pheromones in him that would go away in the amount of time it took to get back to campus, he nodded to his brother. "I love you, Robert." He whispered and walked out into the crowds on the street.
