There was a bit of a smirk from Lenore, but she didn't comment on his laughter. There really was no upside to being an orphan that she could think of, because there was always the possibility of some long lost relative you never knew you had because you never knew where you came form. Lenore couldn't even imagine that. Not knowing any of her family, even if she refused to speak to some of them.
"I like naps." She said softly, even though she had basically been sleeping on and off all day. Being doubly-rejected and having your friends all get pissy with you kind of made you tired. Or, well, depressed, which also made you tired. She scooted over a little so that there was more space on the bed. "But you know, you could take your shoes off. I happen to like my bed being clean."
