"I know." She said, sighing. He was clearly not letting her get away with her current need to be flippant and evasive. Also a little rude and sarcastic, really, if she wanted to be honest. Alec, his friends, and all the older kids in general were challenging her way of thinking about life and she didn't like it. It was awkward and it made her feel uncomfortable and angry. But everything was just so overwhelming at this point that she was starting to build up that wall, that just separated her from all the bullshit. She didn't want to deal with it, so she wouldn't.
Lenore had to raise a brow when he explained how that was going to come about, and that it would involve alcohol. She laughed. "Ok, ok." She said, putting her hands up in resignation. "We will drink, we will reveal deep dark secrets. Is this a game, or are we just going to drink until we get sad and spill all our darkest innermost thoughts and feelings?"
