She heard the loud pop from the ketchup bottle and instantly felt the room change. She was much, much more sensitive to information floating around than she normally was and she felt it sharp like a stab. She thought over what she had said and what she knew, and mouthed shit softly to herself. She knew he wouldn't see.
Noah was not at all upset about having a little extra ketchup, he even said yay! happily. "All the tomato that kid needs." She said with a bit of a snicker, trying to lighten the mood. "Eat at the table, Noah." She said, the second he tried to head into the living room to finish his show. He was a good kid, and did exactly as she asked and and sat down across from her at the table.
"Nothing to congratulate. I think I messed that up too." She said softly. Her abilities had really gotten in the way of her friendships lately. "Sorry, Jac. I don't... normally get so jumbled. I don't think you understand the amount of information I'm getting from everything right now. I would never say anything." Although she honestly didn't understand why, especially here at Willowbrook, one would be so afraid to come out.
