She did what she could to stay out of people's business when it was highly personal, but she forgot sometimes. It was a luck of the draw kind of thing. It was information she had, and sometimes she forgot that it wasn't always best to just flaunt that out to people. Agents, teachers, and students alike enjoyed their privacy. Emily enjoyed hers. But it wasn't always easy to just keep everything private.
She waved her hand in a dismissive way when he complimented her. "To be honest, I was down for the count the first day. I was so overwhelmed with a singular vision playing on repeat, that I literally couldn't move. I had to call for help." It had been embarrassing, but it had turned out well in the end, anyway. Because she had been able to see Claire's face in real-time for the first time in their whole lives. It had been a rather touching moment to come from such a terrible happening.
"I'm not old." She said with a flippant sort of laugh. But she knew what he meant. "It could be." Most things effected adults far worse than they did teenagers. She wondered if that was simply it, and the fact that of course they were quite used to their abilities behaving at this point. They had, after all, spent a fair amount of time learning to keep them from triggering unnecessarily. "It's very, very frustrating to deal with, though. I hope everything stabilizes soon." She said, a bit wistfully. She wanted Bob to feel better, too.
