"I do like to read, but I have a hard time sitting still." She admitted. It wasn't that it was boring to her, it's just that her body held too much energy for her to sit still very long. It was difficult to expel, when she was taking in so much. She controlled it a lot better now, but she felt sluggish when she didn't keep up her hyper pace. "Oh, I've heard of all of those authors, though." She said, happily. She wasn't completely dense. She just wasn't well-read. "I actually think there's a lot of people here who like reading. A lot of the younger years, too, spend a lot of time reading in their rooms." She had never been that way, but a lot were so uncomfortable with their abilities or had a hard time adjusting.
She laughed at his joke about having to run to catch buses. That was entirely possible, the buses ran on a schedule but when were they ever really on time? Fortunately, they had about a five to ten minute wait for the bus they needed to take, so she relaxed, leaning against the pole. "The city is overwhelming. And expensive. If you just don't care, there's no reason to go. Shopping, maybe. But I have all the food and entertainment I need at Willowbrook. It's only when I feel trapped that I ever try and go out." You know, cabin fever and all that.
"I do not currently have weekend plans, no." She said, and give a distinctive pout at that. "I'm sure by the end of tomorrow there'll be something happening I can tag along to or whatever, but nothing set in stone. You're welcome to come and do whatever I do, though, if you want to not relax." She smirked.
