"Please don't cry" he commented softly as his thumb wiped a tear off of her cheek. "You're right though." Taking Lukas from her arms he lay the boy back in his arms and began to rock him softly. A lullaby, the very one his mother had sang to him, filled the room as Connor's rich tenor sangs the words Looking up from the sweet face of his son, he stole a glance at Lenore. He'd done it again. He'd friggen hurt her again. He was awful at this. How could he be this great guy if all he did was hurt he girl he cared about. It didn't take long for Lukas to fall asleep and Connor tucked him snugly into his carrier, blanket draped over the top.
"There, he should be good now. I'll carry him back over to by moms place later." He smiled at Lenore. She was clearly upset and he wanted to do anything to lighten the mood. "Lets talk."
