A lot of people had that look when they saw Hana. She was always like that - her mother had given her that look, her step father, her step brother's mother, and every teacher or classmate she had ever had. Strangers on the street. She had been absorbing energy for longer than she was really aware of, and previously before she could expel it, the build-up could keep her awake for days. Hana closed her eyes softly, a smell expulsion of energy released from her, and three bright spherical shapes started to orbit around her. They were pure energy in such a raw form - they were beautiful, to her. She expelled them momentarily just to reabsorb them. She did that sometimes, when she was bored.
But she didn't have to be bored for much longer. There was a voice coming from the entrance and she whipped her head around to see Lance coming up, complaining about Alec. "Still on that?" She asked, letting out a small giggle. She removed the beanie from her head, shoving it into her pocket for a moment as she took her long, thin black hair and pulled it into a bun, so that it would stay out of her face. The beanie, once firmly placed on her head again, kept any stray pieces from flying out. Much better. She turned to look at Lance straight on, crossing her arms over her chest. She gave him a quick once over. She could see that he was muscular, she had seen him in classes. A worthy opponent, for sure. But she definitely thought she would take him in a good ol' fashioned race.
"Alright. No sprints, because I find that boring." She said, canting her head to the side. She didn't have any make-up on, preferring a clean face when she was going to work out or do anything like that. She had a perpetually kind of oh, really? Face without her make-upon, but then again, she probably had that expression all the time. "I'm up anything, but if you want something a little shorter we can do just a mile?" A mile really wasn't a long run, after all. Not if you spent any amount of time running on a normal basis, which she assumed Lance did. He was very focused, particularly about training it seemed.
