Lenore had no mouth filter. Maybe it was a little inappropriate to say something like that to a guy you just met - maybe that made her seem like a crazy girl. But fuck it who cared? Lenore never did and she never would. She didn't always roll with the punches but God forbid you try and stop the girl from doing or saying something on her mind. She was an unstoppable force, in a way. "I'm thoroughly impressed." She said, raising a brow at the apparent Second-Coming of Jesus. "Getting kicked out of a school for kids who get kicked out of school. That takes some serious skill and handiwork." She wasn't even being facetious - she really was legitimately impressed by that. She had gotten in a fair amount of trouble before Willowbrook herself - and even some here, too. But she wasn't that impressive.
"Comparing yourself to the second-coming of Jesus is bad form." She retorted, giving him a little smack to his shoulder with the back of her hand. "Adorable implies that I'm a kid or something. So does little duck. I'm getting little-sister syndrome over here, and I don't even have siblings." She definitely did not want to be the little sister. It was probably the biggest insult in the world to her.
