It had hit, indeed, and Lenore felt terrible up until he said nice hit. Well, he was okay. She didn't realize she could punch someone flat on their ass, and she was actually really impressed with herself. "Thanks." She said after a moment, stepping back because offering to help him up would probably only land her on the floor again. "Hope that didn't hurt too bad." She sad, partially in sarcasm and the other part she meant. She really hoped she hadn't hurt him, at least not too bad. She had to admit that this was probably the most fun she had had in a while, and that with all her pent up frustrations about her life, and now the break-up with Connor added in, punching the crap out of someone felt amazing.
But now Alec wanted to push her power and she felt time come lurching back down to near stopping. She hated when it was slow. It was nice, sometimes, when you really wanted to enjoy a moment, when you needed a bit more time before class, you know. Stopping to smell the roses kind of thing. But Lenore was much more fast-paced then that, and it irritated her for it to be slowed. Particularly now, when she didn't want it to be. She could see how it might be useful for people who could not see it slowed, she could do a lot of things to put herself in a better position or advantage in a fight, but he could see. They both looked like maybe gravity had stopped and their movements were sluggish and slow looking.
"Uuuughhhh." She said, trying to push back. But she just couldn't. They didn't want to work. The brief moment her abilities allowed her to use them, to work properly for the first time in days and now they were retreating back once more. She looked at Alec. He no longer seemed to be moving. "Stop!" She called, in a bit of panic. "Stop, stop!" She had always been able to see other Chronokinetics, when they manipulated their time. What the fuck was going on?
