Lenore knew how to control time well at this point. If only her abilities weren't all wonky. It's not like they were going all crazy like they were for other students - she'd seen the damage to the GES building, Frankie had nearly caught people on fire. She just, well, couldn't use hers. They didn't want to be used. She kind of knew why, it was probably because she was sad. Who could trigger the kind of excitement it normally took to meddle with time. She hadn't been properly excited in a long time. This, however, was starting to get there. She was really excited to be the first to win - and she was! Except it didn't go as expected.
With a loud "Oof" She dropped flat on her back onto the mat, after having been flipped over. "Ow. Not fair, I can't flip you." She said, breath knocked out of her. He wanted to go again and she grinned. "Okay." And without further ado, she vanished from his sight. It looked kind of like she fell through the mat, and if he were paying attention he would have seen the little dimensional rift that opened behind her to pull her through. She ended up across the room. Not exactly where she had wanted to go, but good enough. Time sped up so quickly it was a little jarring, particularly for Alec who could see it, and was seeing it for really, the first time.
If he didn't push back, Lenore's next attack was to stop dead in front of him before he even realized she had moved and punch him square in the jaw. Something along the lines of I'msosorryIgotoverexcited would escape her lips if said jaw-punching landed. Lenore was one to very, very easily get overexcited by things like this. It's why missing class was so detrimental to her. She needed to learn how to, well, stop being such an adrenaline junkie.
