"Really, B.F Skinner was the one who coined the term 'Conditioning' in the way that you're thinking of it." Why did she know that? Because one of the fifteen different therapists she had went to to get her so-called compulsive lying habit under control had told it to her, at least once. Or fifteen times. "And then, I'll only respond to pain and what am I going to do if I don't have you there to punch me?" She asked, finding the flaw in his plan. She didn't like the way he called her little duck, but she supposed there could have been worse nicknames. Well, suppose is wrong. She had definitely had worse nicknames, and it was almost endearing. Almost. Except that she didn't know this guy and he wanted her to punch him, and she really wanted to punch him. So, regardless, she would go with it. "Besides, you won't be able to punch me while I'm using my ability. Watch."
This was exciting. She wanted to do this, so bad. To his eyes, there was no movement, nothing out of the ordinary at all. And then, in a matter of time that was incomprehensible to him, she was back in her spot, but he would be feeling another bit of pain, this time more in his shoulder. She had stopped time. "I could have tripped you if I wanted, but you said punching so, there we go!" She laughed, taking another step back. "I used my ability that time. I punched you while using it so, you should get it now."
