To say she was excited would be an understatement. In fact, if she did have a roommate, she'd be pissed. The whole apartment was way too bright, as she danced around that morning getting ready. She loved this place - it was more awesome than college was! Not to mention, she was learning how to use these abilities of hers, what they meant, what everything meant. Things she had been longing to know for the majority of her life. And now here they all were. And she liked Oren - she thought he was a nice person, and she already found herself learning from him. She now knew, vaguely, how to fake-fight.
Getting ready was pretty easy for Cordelia. Her outfit was pretty typical for Cordelia. Jeans, some short of flats or boots, a button up light blue collared t-shirt and a scarf. She did paint her nails pink, however. She was girly sometimes. Sometimes. Besides, it was one of her first days going out into the city to run errands. She wanted to look like she belonged in the city, not stand out. Her hair did what it always did - sat atop her head. She used a little gel to make it stand a bit, but it was so short that it kind of just did it's own thing.
The errands themselves had been fun enough for Cordelia - getting into the right part of the city, finding a florist, buying flowers, and walking to the Cemetary. Well, it didn't sound exciting but Cordelia could hardly contain her excitement. She babbled on quite a bit about this or that as they did their errands, and did the absolutely best she could to not trigger her abilities. If they were less subtle abilities, she might be conspicuous. However, with the rainclouds lingering threateningly above, the unnatural glow on her was somewhat noticeable sometimes. She heard someone say She's glowing, she must be pregnant. She looks beautiful. It took a lot for her not to laugh.
But now that they were in the cemetery, all semblance of joy was quietly hidden. She didn't want to seem disrespectful, so she kept her excitement and radiant nature on mild, following Oren around the maze of graves until he stopped at one. This is who he bought the flowers for, obviously, but she wasn't quite sure what they were doing here yet. All he said was that they were stopping by the cemetery. She didn't ask, however. She remained quiet, letting Oren have his moment to reflect or whatever it was he needed to do.
