Flo was about to comment on the, what she felt, excessive size of the gym, when Cordelia mentioned that she could go invisible. Flo's mouth closed and she straightened her back, sitting up as tall and straight as she could on a large rubber ball. Had it been a proper throne she might have looked distinguished. She did manage to keep her face in check, though. No wide eyes, no furrowed brow, she didn't even change color.
But she was quiet for just about long enough that one suspects something might be wrong. But only just that long. "You can turn invisible?" she asked, again losing a bit of her balance and threatening to lean to one side. She caught herself.
"I, uh, I haven't..." Now her brow furrowed, but she cleared her throat and got herself together again. "I've never met anyone else who could turn invisible. I mean, I guess, I suppose it's possible I've passed them, not knowing they were there, but as far as I know... I've never met another invisible person before."
She narrowed her eyes and studied Cordelia anew, as though she was a lion Flo had mistaken for a housecat at a distance. She was still Pretty Girl, still freckles, still glowing. Flo supposed she was fashionable, but Flo was a poor judge of that. She seemed confident enough, kind enough.
"I can only go invisible," Flo, well... Flo lied, but as far as she was concerned that's all she cared about. "Can you do anything with sound?" she asked, her eyes narrow, leaning forward slightly, insanely interested in the response to that question. "Like sound cancelling out? Can you kill a sound?"
