I've dropped Katrael ni Uiletor and Nicky Sommerville. Katrael just never seemed to fit and was difficult, and Nicky's just gone quiet on me.

I'm picking up Det. Mac Taylor from CSI: New York. I haven't decided what point in canon he's from, probably last season or the beginning of this upcoming season (no, I don't know any spoilers).
