Fresh blood!
Hiya! I’m new (although I recall some other members from other games ;) ), my name is Lorena and I’ll be playing Integral Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing from Hellsing (manga mostly, although I have lifted some stuff from the ~~fail~~ two animated adaptations it has).

Hellsing, for those who don’t know, is actually an action/horror-packed spin-off and continuation of Dracula (based mostly in the novel, a little borrowed of Coppola’s take and a decent amount of Vlad's history) set in 1999. Integral is Abraham van Helsing’s granddaughter, leader of the Royal Protestant Knights who protects UK and the Anglican Church from threats (be undead or living), one of the twelve members of the Round Table that rule the nation in the shadows, and commander of Hellsing organization. She’s coming immediately after Oblivion in volume 10, before the ending chapter, Romancia. One day I will update her to after the epilogue.

Pryllie Mod has cleared me to get help to save her freshly damaged eyesight of her left eye (due to lack of patched!PB), I can assume it, but if you want your character involved into this, please I’ll love to plot. Contacts at Larisa Thessaly or thess.fan.of.hellsing@gmail.com :)

	I have to admit, I'm familiar with Hellsing: I've read it's background and the characters backgrounds several times before, but I've never gotten the chance to read it personally. I know that Alucard is something of a servant to Integral and that he fights on her side. I don't know how Drac would take that, though, lol. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I totally recommend you to read it (animated versions are meh). Alucard's one of the best portrayals of Vlad/Dracula I've seen (I am a Dracula junkie) because he's developed and complex and sympathetic without being... sappy pathetic. The guy impales, instead of the name of God, he builds forest of the impaled for Integra which is so cool.

He also gets his happy ending for ONCE he doesn't lose/gets killed. Hellsing recognizes a bit the typical used stocks for the Dracula spin offs but twists them (the "Abraham figure" Anderson becomes a Monster, Alucard defeats, the big-breasted chick turned into a minion first aka "Lucy" or Seras Victoria doesn't get killed and gets her love interest to a happy ending, etc). Yep, Alucard's her servant like her "knight in shining armor" and, at the end, they are settled down as equals/consorts of sorts (it's hinted Integra becomes a vampire in the last chapter, Romancia).

Poor Dracula. Integra'll be so SO confused/upset/enraged because he's not her Count and she just saw him vanish from existence, killed the man who did that to him (she was so angry), and proceeded to wait for his return for the next 30 years (ugh Japanese are so fond of these waiting Penelope cliché).
