Lee put the Godbox into his pocket, and threw a few things into the bag he always kept ready. He was gone from the apartment more than he was there these days, truth was since he'd arrived. Sometimes he marveled that he still had the bar-tending job with Shang Tsung. Wondering if he should just give up his lease, he headed for the Viper. It wouldn't take him long to get to Anne's location in Seattle with the small spaceship.

Arriving in the pouring rain, complete with landing in the dark, wasn't exactly his favorite thing to do. Even after 18 months on Earth, flying the Viper Atmo still wasn't second nature. At least the winds were a lot calmer than they had been during the strange incident.Then again, people going missing on Gigi's world was not without precedent. He realized it wasn't a revelation to him that he was relieved that Anne was safe; he also realized he wasn't surprised at how important a milestone that was in their relationship. Now if he could only convince her of that. Maybe taking her to one of his favorite places would help.

Pulling out the Godbox he texted her again:

"In field, same loc as picked up Raptor"

	Anne sent him a text back: "In Raptor." When he arrived, she popped open the hatch and exited, hands on hips. There was a small smile of relief on her face and she walked toward him, ponytail swinging. "Glad you could make it. Thanks for holding down the fort while I was gone." (Reply to this) (Thread)

Seeing her coming toward him he smiled. He could have seen a small bit of attitude, the way she had her hands on her hips. Her smile totally negated any possibility of that perception being valid, however. He was getting ready to say something, but stopped abruptly. Then he shook his head in amusement at himself. "I was almost going to say I wasn't the one who got dragged away from home. Then it hit me, when did I start thinking of this place that way? And you're welcome."

Still he kept half of his attention on the surroundings. Part of his concern was the place still being new to him, he didn't know what to expect. He managed to shove that concern back into its proper place before returning his attention back to Anne. "So you said you can fly a Viper, and I don't doubt it. I'm still curious though; how long has it been, and how much time have you had in one? And yes, I know I'm probably repeating the question here."
