Edward had basically kept to himself for a couple of weeks. Not really wanting to go back to Washington, after all, he had nothing built there that was of any interest. He stayed in London, and had J send him a new passport and paperwork that changed his "age" to 25. He could pull it off, and yes, he needed a place to stay on the off days the sun actually decided to shine.
He primarily stuck to the wooded areas on England, the woods around Loch Ness were particularly empty this time of year due to the cold.
This particular Twilight, dusk, the saddest transition of the day, he was looking at the gray sky and standing still. Having just fed the day before, his thirst was nonexistent. Being a loner wasn't bothering him, he was the same in Forks.
He ran his hand through his hair, and shifted his weight to avoid looking like a statue. A couple of people wakled by him on the street. The street was downtown, in a "dangerous" part of town. Dangerous meant different things to different people, but the locals knew to disappear after the sun went down or risk never being found again.
Like these humans even know what is truly dangerous...
