"Shouldn't you at least have some say in the matter?" she murmured as she stood up. Picking up her tea cup, she carried it to the kitchen before she started toward her bedroom to pack a little bag of things to take to his house. "I mean," she called from the bedroom. "It is your house. Maybe you don't want someone imposing for that long. Maybe you'd rather have the place to yourself."
She was mostly teasing, really; she knew he wouldn't have invited her if he didn't want her there.
