Layla was used to all manner of handshakes, working with the Mayor and sometimes, the military, you got used to it. Layla shook her hand nice and gentle, but there was a subtle strength behind it.
"Sharon, pretty name, well then, the pleasure is ours." Layla said with a broad grin. At the mention of the flowers, Layla blushed and ducked her head some. "Yeah, um, I guess whoever planted them suspected they would be a hearty batch out in this amazing sun and fresh, salty air? Who knows, they did germinate a ton of seeds they brought to the moon, and they all germinated fairly well, considering the radiation of space and all that, then planted them all around the world. Miracles happen daily." Layla babbled on, suddenly stopping and biting at her lower lip.
"True, I mean, I imagine it is true. You would need to reassess your personal center of gravity and learn and entire new muscle group to be able to manage a board, as well as guide it along the wave. Much like skateboarding, or bellydancing...that takes muscle groups you never knew you owned to move each piece of your body in a certain mannerism." Realizing she was still babbling, Layla bit her lower lip again and watched the other girl carefully.
