Who: Severus Snape and Logan Echolls
When: Some time during the night after Sev's fight with his father, back dated to Thursday
Where: A jailhouse in England
Rating/Warnings: Strong language - did you expect any less with these two?
Status: In progress
Getting booked was a new experience for Severus - in all the cacophony that summed up his delinquent, at best, existence he'd not once set foot into a police station. However, instead of using this moment as a sobering influence, he defaulted back on his sarcastic disposition and exercised his rights to be a down right pain in the ass; bleeding, pain-wrecked body be damned.
Beginning with the booking officer.
"Name?" Officer McDaniels asked.
"Severus T. Snape," that was simple enough,
"Residence?"
"Number 394 Knockturn Alley, London." Officer McDaniels furrowed his brow at the unusual address, who'd ever heard of Knockturn Alley, but he wrote it anyways.
And then it all went down hill from there.
"Birthdate?"
Severus smirked, "January 9, 1960."
Officer McDaniels paused, "Don't be cute, birthdate?"
Severus repeated the same answer.
Office McDanials clearly wasn't in the mood to be toyed with and moved on. "Age?"
"Thirty-nine."
Round cheeks growing read, Office McDaniels scowled and finally dug into Severus's wallet to take out his identification. The officer pulled out Sev's fake ID first and read out loud, "Sevvy McEvilpants?"
Severus nodded, "That is my name."
Officer McDaniel was not amused, Severus was.
The officer returned to the wallet and next pulled out Severus's Neptune High ID, "You attend school in Neptune, California?" He asked in disbelief.
"Yes," Severus answered honestly.
"California? But you live in London?"
"Yes," also honest.
"What, do you commute every morning?" Officer McDaniels's was good at sarcasim.
"Yes," again an honest answer. And, really, Severus couldn't understand why the man was getting upset - he was being perfectly honest!
McDaniels tossed that ID aside as well. The last one, the one Severus had received upon entering Gigi's world was next. It gave all his current, correct information, home address, age, and birthdate: 39, January 9, 1960.
Chalking it up as a loss, or just something the officer didn't want to deal with this late at night, Officer McDaniels waived over another officer to take Severus away, to a holding cell Severus supposed.
"What about a phone call?"
The pay phones were in the opposite direction of the holding cells and both officers rolled their eyes. Officer McDaniel held out Severus's godbox for him, you had to love lazy peace officers, while the other one un-handcuff one arm for Severus, but still held firmly to his loose arm.
Severus thought briefly as to who he would send a message to. Lucy was out of the question, she'd be furious. Cassidy would most likely be with Laurie. Remus and Lily asleep. Severus realized the one person that might actually best understand the predicament he was currently in would in all likely hood not respond - considering they'd not spoken since their last fight weeks ago.
But Severus decided to try anyways, he typed a quick message, Fight w/my father, in jail, bail me out, will pay you back. He pressed send and handed the godbox back to Officer McDaniels.
The other officer none too kindly jerked his arm back around and cuffed him, the handcuffs tight enough to cut into the flesh of his wrists. He held back a grimace at the pain shooting through his arms adding to the bruises and scrapes he'd collected that evening. Severus forced a smile as the officer cuffed him, "Whao mate, how much do you charge by the hour? And are you a switch?"
The officer was also not amused at Severus's antics, and shoved him towards the holding cells. All Severus had to do now was wait and hope Logan had cooled off enough to take pity on him, otherwise it would be a long night.
[ooc - ya I know it's long, Monti, but it's a heck of a lot of fun!]
