"Yeah," he said, smiling just a little as he spotted Daniel. Instinctively he glanced about before he leaned in for a quick, chaste kiss. Honestly, he thought, his heart was beating so fast he probably reminded the other boy of a skittish rabbit. And maybe he was...he'd almost had a heart attack when he'd opened his notebook to find the poorly scribbled note about dating Daniel all proper like in there. He knew he'd written, it was his hand writing...and yet it hadn't made things that much better.
So he'd stayed away for the weekend, trying to sort himself out a little, and mostly sitting in with Sim as they watched the school explode into paranoia.
But the word about what Jax had seen had gotten out, and suddenly Leon was curious. He wasn't, after all, a stranger to black magic. His uncle had left him a book of black magic spells that his grandfather had finally passed on to him a year or so back. He liked to think that made him wiser than most students there age.
