Characters: Everyone! Date: Wednesday, April 18th 7:00 PM and through the night Setting: Ally’s Home in Tennessee Rating: R (for inevitable teenage behavior) Summary: Ally holds a spring dance for the school at her home. Party it up!
There are very few times in this life that you are able to truly kick back and enjoy life for what it is. To forget about the stress, expectations, and requirements of being a young adult in the magical world. Tonight, the invitation of southern cuisine, dancing and inspiration fill the evening. Magical is hardly the word to describe it.
It was clear from almost the moment that the guests began arriving that Ally spared no expense or effort in making her home in La Grange a beacon of southern hospitality. The entire house was adjusted to keep the best layout possible for her guests, and rooms were set up so that those that requested a room in the guest house could have them. The closest section of land to the houses was set up as the dance area where most of the party would be held. There was a small pavilion set up for seating and relaxing, and a dance floor. At first it was lit by large circular lanterns that would pulse to the beat of the music playing, but by the end of the evening it would be lit by nothing but the moon, stars, and a few bistro lights that she’d set up. She wanted people to get the full impression of the Tennessee sky, and all of the stars that could be seen.
Thankfully, she’d gotten her horses and Winston set back in the stables so that they wouldn’t be bothered by anyone, or in turn, bother anyone else, but of course, the other horses would be available to anyone in the Equestrian Club (yes, charms were set up to zap you if you weren't).
The food was set out, and Ally’s guests were greeted with her warm smile and uncharacteristic look. She certainly wasn't pulling any punches tonight (and neither was the spiked punch). At 8:00 her mixed playlist was started. The music went on for hours, starting at 8:00 on the nose, and ended at exactly 12:00.
"Thank you all for coming this evening to celebrate. This dance is a testament that no one can ever hold you back. You are what you make yourself to be, and no one has the right to tell us how to be young adults! Larga vida y fiesta! Live Long and Party On!"
With that, Katy Perry’s 'Firework' was the last song of the evening, with a full fireworks display to match the beat of the music. The guests were encouraged to continue their evening, but to do so on their own watch.
After the party ends, the guests will have free reign of the grounds (which encompass more than just the numbered areas) with the only rule reminder to please mind your neck and not break it. It isn't mentioned, but there are signs over the doors to the main house (marked 1) that read "Familia ONLY". This means Ally, Eddie, Rowan, and Keegan. If anyone tries to enter, or tries to enter with one of the aforementioned people, a blast of pink glitter will spread across their face. This cannot be removed by water, tape, or any other method and will remain there until morning.
