With her head still pounding along with the music, Vail carefully swung her feet off the bed and onto the floor, pushing her body back into a sitting position. Her entire body was sore, aches and pains shot through her as she moved. She sent up a silent thank you to whoever was in charge of things for the fact that at least her stomach wasn't turning against her as well. As long as she moved slowly she thought she would be able to keep everything down that she'd eaten the previous day. Once she was fully upright she scanned the room again, hoping to spot her wand.
It was nowhere in sight, so instead of attempting anything even close to a search she amended her plans and pushed herself off the bed towards the speakers. The Devil kept them plugged into her laptop, which was wide open, practically asking for Vail to do something to it. The music got even louder as she drew closer to it, making the scowl on her face even more pronounced. She cast a quick glance over her shoulder at the bathroom door, making sure that Bekka was still attempting to wash the filth from a life filled with evil off her mortal body, which left her with a sharp shooting pain in her temples.
Once she was sure the cost was clear, she ripped the speakers from the computer and put the laptop on mute. She wavered for a second, wondering just how much trouble she would be in if she erased the playlist from her iTunes library. After a second of thought she decided it wouldn't be worth the months of revenge she would need to live through afterwards, and made her way back to her bed, flopping on her stomach and pulling the pillow over her head to block out the light.
