Despite being in a pub that wasn't anywhere near empty, Sally was conscious that this probably wasn't the safest position she'd ever been in. Strangely though, her mother had utterly failed to warn her about men like Spike, if he was any of the things he was suggesting.
"I suppose being in a pub is preferable to daytime television whoever and whatever you are," she paused, thinking back over the conversation. It seemed a reasonable guess that immortals weren't that worried about sunlight. "Well, demons don't like sunlight either from what I've heard, but I'm guessing from the number of mentions that you're a vampire, right?"
She still wasn't entirely sure he was serious, but her mind was contemplating options just in case.
