The Master shook his head, chuckling. "Is that really all it takes to gain your loyalty, Jack? As for what I want? Control over the universe, the Doctor on his knees - though not begging, that was pathetic. A good coffee, a chef who knows how to cook." He tapped a finger against his lips a moment, looking thoughtful. "I do believe I'm forgetting something. Oh, yes, to go back home so I might get on with that. But really, I doubt you could help with that."
Jack he didn't feel quite the need to hide his frustration around, though he supposed it wasn't good for him. Not trust, certainly, but perhaps just familiarity. Still, more openness than perhaps was particularly healthy for him.
