After many hours sleep and a few more hours wandering to get a proper feel of the place, it wasn't seeming any less real, and that was getting annoying. She couldn't shake the feeling she had so much to do back home and here she was, sat in a restaurant, munching on crumpets like she had all the time to spare in the world.
She was trying pretty hard to just convince herself that this was normal, just a holiday or something, but it was difficult.
Watching everyone who walked in was all she could do to distract herself. When one of them waved at her, a man who looked as confused as she felt, she offered a smile in return.
"Are you all right?" she asked after a moment. "You look pale."
