Jason closed his eyes and drew in a breath, letting it out slowly. "I don't understand you," he clarified. "I can't understand your beliefs because they're pretty much the opposite of everything I've ever known." And he was raised in the South, so that meant something. "And because, frankly, I'm not a person either by your definition and that makes me uncomfortable as Hell. So it's probably better we part ways now, so I can clear my head."
