He stood up, and threw her a sloppy salute, "Yes, ma'am."
Smiling, he said, a touch more seriously, "I will. I mean it, 'm better with that now. Don't worry about me. 'M good."
He nodded and blinked a bit at her. "If you need me ever, offer's still there to come find me. You're a good woman, Lucy, don't let anyone mess you about. Well, you know what I mean," he added, looking slightly embarrassed.
He turned to go, blowing a kiss to her as he did so.
