He twitched his mouth in a lop-sided grin, a twinkle in his eyes. "He's just buggered off, and we were planning on food in our room. I wonder where he's got to. Must just be the scintilating conversation I get up to. Boy just can't get away from me fast enough."
Still amusement in his tone, not really concerned for now. He looked down at himself properly for the first time since he left the bedroom. "Yes well, I came down here in a bit of a hurry," he said, looking slightly sheepish.
"Listen, you on your way somewhere? Or are you free for a coffee or something? It'd be good to catch up, and I'm going to wait in the restaurant for a bit to see if Jamie turns up there. Good job there's no dress code, eh?" he smirked.
