Open Gray peered out of the TARDIS, glancing up at the Doctor when the Time Lord spun back to look at the TARDIS. He frowned at the angry expression on the Doctor's face, even as the expression melted into disbelief, and some small amount of relief. "what's wrong?"
"Nothing." The Doctor glared up at the sky a moment, and Gray followed his gaze, wondering what was wrong - he didn't believe the Doctor's word that it was nothing.
"But you looked like you were expecting something to be wrong, and you looked surprised the TARDIS was here," Gray pointed out, crossing his arms stubbornly as he looked back at the Doctor. "Something's wrong."
"We're stuck here until this place lets us go, that's what's wrong!" the Doctor snapped, scowling at Gray a moment. "And it's full of might-have-beens."
"What do you mean?"
"People end up here from different timelines."
"And?"
"Some of them are dead back home."
"Oh." Gray frowned, his brow furrowing a moment. "Dominic could be here then."
"Yeah." The Doctor scowled at the street a moment. "A lot of people could be here."
Gray looked down the street again, carefully stepping out of the TARDIS, looking over his shoulder to make sure something didn't happen to it, the Doctor's earlier actions making him wonder if it would just vanish. He spotted someone coming down the street, and tensed, frowning.
