The doctor sighed and glanced at Martha. He got nothing either. Mickey blood was showing some abnormalities, but it was like nothing he had ever seen before. He really hoped they would get another message from the alternate reality soon. Maybe they had figured this out by now. Time moved faster there after all.
When Martha said she'd call Gwen he just nodded. Then he went over to a table and picked up some papers with results from an analysis.
"It seems to be similar to a coma", he said while putting the first sheet of paper down and looking at the next. "According to this Mickeys state is also similar to people who are dreaming." He walked back to Mickey and looked down at him. "Maybe whatever is causing it isn't really affecting the body, but the mind?"
The doctor stared at Mickey and wondered if he should try to use his telepathic powers to connect with Mickeys mind. But what if he'd get whatever Mickey had through that? Should he risk it anyway? No, he'd wait for a message from the human doctor first. He could still try it then, if he had to.
The doctor then suddenly heard a voice and turned around. He had been so lost in thoughts that he hadn't even noticed someone come into the HUB.
He glanced at the man who had spoken. "Hello, you must be Captain Hart. Jack told us you'd be coming by." Then he turned to look at the younger man.
"And that's the alien, then?" Then he froze. "I know you, don't I?" Looking at him the doctor got a bad feeling. "Oh... it's you." He frowned, memories from the planet Midnight suddenly coming back to him. He really had tried not to think about that day ever again.
