Sally stared at Jenny, her mouth dropping slightly open. "The doctor? You mean he's your father?", she asked. "Really?" Sally then smiled. If she was the doctors daughter it definitely was good that she helped her.
Her eyes then fixed on Jenny again. "Explode?", she asked. She didn't see anything funny about that. Either Jenny was very strange or she had hit her head badly. Well, it was bleeding. She would have to have a closer look at the wound, but not now. They had to get away as quickly as possible!
"Definitely. Running is a good idea." She then was off with Jenny, who had taken her hand.
She led her down a small alley, away from the ship. The sirens were getting louder and Sally quickly turned into another alley. Then there was a loud explosion. For a moment Sally wondered if the people living nearby would be ok. But then she pushed that thought away. there was nothing she could d for them. And the police surely would arrive any minute.
"This way", Sally said. She'd take Jenny to her apartment. Looking at her Sally then frowned. Jenny looked a little pale.
"Are you alright? I live about 4 minutes from here. Will yo be able to make it?"
