Alice stood waiting downstairs and outside near the jeep against a wall waiting for Emmett with Lynda. She thought about how this was played out and hoped it didn't end badly.
Emmett bounded down the stairs towards Lynda. "C'mon, we have to get going," he said with a grin as he went outside and tossed the keys to Alice. "You're driving."
"I have been trying to go for the last....well I don't know how long, but it's been a while." She said throwing the door open and bounding towards nothing. "Hey where's the car?"
Alice heard voices and then snatched the keys as Emmett flung them her way, "This way, we're taking the jeep, it's the easiest way into the woods," she said as she moved into the garage and pulled the cover that had been covering the jeep.
Emmett moved quickly into the garage, grabbing the other side of the cover and pulled it off before opening up the passenger side door, waiting for Lynda to catch up to them so he could harness her into the seat before taking his spot to stand in the back of the monstrous 4x4 that he loved so much.
"This is a car? Looks like so much more" She said as she tried to imagine how she was going to get in.
Alice shook her head, "Not exactly a car, more like a really big jeep, like a Hummer, not that you'd know what that is but... it's big, bulky, and protective, especially for humans. Plus, it goes through mud, snow, woods and anything else we need. Let Emmett harness you in so you don't get tossed around once we start moving, it gets rough in the woods."
Emmett grinned. "A big ass jeep," he commented, proud of it. "I'm going to lift you up into it and strap you in," Emmett continued. "On the count of three. One. Two. Three." With that, he lifted the fragile human and placed her in the seat, starting to harness her in quickly.
"You don't need to warn me" She said. "I..." She looked down a bit sheepish. "Trust you."
Alice put the keys in the ignition and started the engine. She heard the jeep roar to life like it had a mind of its own. Looking over she had saw that Emmett had finished locking her into the straps. "Alright, we're ready, ready to go meet your friends, Lynda?", she asked while she waited for Emmett to get in the back.
Emmett jumped into the back of the jeep, making a loud clank as his boots made contact with the metal as he held onto the bar in a squatting position so his head didn't make contact with the top of the garage. "Ready Alice!"
"You're not going to sit back here?" Lynda asked curious as she looked up in awe of the large man.
"He sits back there because he is so big and there isn't enough room. Don't worry though, he likes it," Alice said as she glanced towards the young girl and pressed the gas pedal as the door to the garage finished opening. Putting her hands on the wheel, she roared out into the night, headlights going on, not that she needed them, heading towards the woods.
Emmett grinned as they started out and stood up, letting the cold wind whip against his even colder-to-the-touch skin, not saying a word but enjoying every minute of this ride.
She was in awe of him, and Alice, but totally lost her train of thought as she held on for dear life.
Nearing the entrance of the woods, she pushed on the break, just a tad, so that she didn't scare the life from Lynda literally considering everything she had been through but still continued on. She drove them into the woods, trees zooming by like tall monsters keeping guard. The moon stood high in the sky lighting up the way. Soon, they were off the usual trail and traveling by instinct alone. As she drove them on into the night she barely missed an oncoming branch that hit the jeep's windshield, "Duck," she said back to Emmett so he didn't get his head bashed in at the very least. She quickly glanced at Lynda, "You okay?"
Emmett got back in his squatting position to avoid the oncoming branch. "Thanks Pixie!" he said, watching as the branch moved over top of him to avoid getting smacked in the head with it.
"I'm Fine...are we there yet?" she asked.
She laughed, "Actually, we're there as far as we can on by Jeep," she said as she stopped the Jeep suddenly to a halt. "We have to walk or run in our cases the rest of the way." Getting out of the Jeep, she moved to the back, "Whose taking her the rest of the way?" she asked Emmett as she moved around the back and him towards Lynda's side to help undo the harnesses.
"I'll take her," Emmett said, jumping down from the back, moving to help Alice with Lynda's harnesses. "As long as she doesn't mind being carried on a running piggy-back ride through the woods," he continued as they got the last of the harnesses undone.
"Huh?" She asked confused. "Why can't I walk?"
"It's a very long way there, complex and hard, there are no trails and only we know the way. You'd get lost, hurt or worse. Besides, you'd be long out of breath before you even made it five minutes out. Though I suggest you close your eyes when Emmett takes you. Bella said she had to because it made her sick the first time Edward took her...", Alice commented, making sure everything was turned off and ready.
Lynda nodded. "Okay..but umm...when this is over can someone introduce me to this Bella person you keep talking about?"
"We can do that," Emmett said. "You'll meet Nessie, Jasper, and Edward, too. Oh, and one of the wolves, Jacob - since he's taken a liking to Nessie and is over almost all the time," he said, helping Lynda down from the Jeep. "Rosalie doesn't like the wolves very much."
"Can't say I love the wolves myself but I do get quiet when I'm around them, especially Jacob. It's actually ... nice," she said as if "nice" was a foreign word to her.
"What do you mean wolves?" She asked as she stood there confused. "Actually can you tell me this story later, I want to see the Doctor...and Rose.."
"Then hop on," Emmett said, lowering himself in front of Lynda. "Don't forget to close your eyes, and you might want to hold on tight, too." He then turned to look at Alice. "We'll run out, it'll be quicker than walking. And I think she wants to see her friends in a hurry."
"Yes sir" She said as she timidly climbed on his back and held on tight.
Alice smiled encouragingly towards Lynda, "You'll do fine. Bella was always very prone to danger so if she could survive I know you can and don't worry, Emmett would never drop you." Then she turned and raced off into the night, darting back and forth through trees, on trees and everything else towards the clearing. No light to guide her but the moon and her own instincts.
Emmett took off running after Alice, darting around the trees and jumping over the roots that stuck out from above the ground towards the clearing. He caught up with Alice and raced past her, his energy never once wavering. "Stop doing your little dance and catch up!" he called to Alice as if this was some sort of race.
Lynda clung to Emmett and whimpered as he ran, unfortunately she didn't listen and her eyes remained open in shock at how fast she was moving.
Alice let out a sort of giggle at Emmett and finally gave up playing and threw through the trees with speed, finally catching up and racing past them both till she came to a halt just short of the clearing where the moonlight shone right onto a box in the middle. The thing they had come for.
Emmett wasn't far behind Alice and caught up to her, almost skidding to a stop at her side as his eyes widened in surprise at the box. "This is it?" he asked, craning his neck to look at Alice. "A box."
"It's bigger on the inside" She said as she tried to catch her breath. "And just a moment, I have to wait for my insides to catch up with me."
"Yes, this is it..." she confirmed for Emmett. Her gaze trailed over the structure. She'd never seen it before, except in her visions, but she just bet it was bigger in the inside if what she saw was true. "Shall we?"
Emmett crouched down to let Lynda off his back. "Well...We made it," he said, still staring at the box. How something could be bigger on the inside than the outside, Emmett would have known.
Once she regained herself she bounded over to the TARDIS and knocked furiously. "Doctor!"
The Doctor looked up from the main console when he heard the knock on the door, and heard the voice he would have known from anywhere and dashed to the door and threw it open, his expression filled with shock and surprise. "Blimey, is that you sweet Lynda with a y?" He asked, not sure if he was dreaming or not
Rose ran over to the TARDIS door where the Doctor stood, and looked outside, her eyes widening with shock. "Lynda? But...you were dead," she said. "It can't be. How'd you get here?"
Alice stepped forward, "We brought her," she said. She put a small smile on her face, "Alice Cullen, a pleasure to finally meet you."
It was Emmett's turn to introduce him as he stepped forward next to his 'sister'. "Emmett Cullen," he said, a slight smile appearing on his face.
"Yeah..umm I was dead, or sort of dead, but I ended up here. Alice found me, took me to her family, her dad is a doctor and he helped me get better.." She said. "There is...well there is something we need to talk to you about, but umm everyone should be involved." She was rambling, but she couldn't help it.
His brain was spinning and mostly he was filled with questions and knew that they would be answered. He looked to the people Lynda was with and grinned. "Nice to meet ya. I'm the Doctor and this is Rose. What is going on that will involve everyone?" He asked.
She smiled at everyone that was standing outside of the box, and was happy to see Lynda alive. "Doctor, don't you think that you should let them all in?" Rose asked, a slight grin appearing on her face as she looked up at him.
Alice stole a glance at the girl next to the man, the one that was talking. She was very young looking, to be with a man who to her seemed older than time. Then again, who was she to judge. "Unfortunately, something very bad has followed you here, to our time .... Lynda calls them the Daleks," she said, deciding that small talk wasn't going to stop their pending problem.
Emmett stood silent and steady as Alice spoke, only nodding in agreement with what she said.
Lynda sighed. "I said we should wait" She said to Alice. "Now he is going to panic and try to make plans and stuff."
The Doctor shook his head blinking several times as he looked at Rose when he heard her speak. "Oh right, you lot can come in if you like." He said stepping aside to allow them entrance inside. "Now, did you say Daleks? You better explain what is going on before I start this TARDIS up and fly in the sky and blow them to smithereens." He said mentally telling himself to stay calm.
"Daleks...but..." Rose started, as she raised an eyebrow. "You mean that there's more of them? Bloody hell. Just how many Daleks are there in the universes?"
Alice shook her head, "I really don't know, I just know what I've seen. And that's that there are more here, already some have killed a friend of ours... Without you, and your other friends," she said meaning the other TARDIS, "Lynda and us..... they will destroy the world and everything and everyone in it." Subtle wasn't a strong point for Alice and she seemed unable to master any part of it now.
Emmett entered the box, and blinked, remembering to act human for the most part, at the sight of it. "It really is bigger on the inside." Indeed Emmett was fascinated with the prospect of something that was like this. It was almost alien. Course, anyone who just called himself the Doctor had to be.
Lynda smiled as she walked in noting she hadn't gotten to do this last time. "It's HUGE"
He grinned and crossed his arms, a usual stance for him. "It's fantastic, isn't it?" He said with his usual mischievous grin, and then turned serious at what Alice said. "Then they must have gone through a rift of some sort, because the last time I saw them was during the Time War. But I am sorry that they killed one of your friends. And you said our other friends?" He said curious as to who else could be around other than Lynda.
"Don't you mean the battle on the Game Station?" Rose asked, leaning against the console, careful not to bump anything. "Remember...you, Jack, Lynda, and I were all there," she continued before turning her attention to Alice and Emmett. "I'm sorry that you lost one of your friends," Rose said sympathetically. "But...what other friends are here?"
Alice glanced around the room, "There was another one of these .... boxes, and another man, like you yet older somehow, with two women, one with red hair who was older, and one that was young that had blonde hair. She seemed related to the man... I saw them in La Push, not that far from here, but far enough."
"I think we should start with getting everyone to one place..what do you think?" Lynda asked. Before anyone answered though she randomly rushed over to the Doctor and hugged him. "I'm sorry I failed you."
"Good idea," The Doctor said and hugged Lynda back, lifting her off the ground and then setting her on her feet again and smiled down at her. "Don't apologize sweet Lynda. You did not fail me. And I don't want to hear that you have. All that matters is that you are back with Rose and me again."
Eyebrows furrowed as Alice described the box with the others in it. "Are you sure?" Rose asked. "And the boxes are called TARDISes," she continued. "They don't sound familiar..."
She nodded, "I'm sure... I've seen it... It looked exactly like this one but with other people in it... But Lynda is right actually, we should wait till we're together with the rest of our family that are back at our house and continue this..." Turning to Emmett, "Why don't I take the Jeep back to the house and if it's okay with the Doctor, you go with them? I'll meet you there and if you get there first you can introduce them to Carlisle, Esme and Rose before I get there...?"
"Fine by me," Emmett said. "If it's alright with the Doctor over there," he continued, motioning his head over towards where the older man stood. "I'll be the Cullen-Hale family representative."
Lynda smirked. "You don't have to go Alice..." She said feeling suddenly bad.
The Doctor was in a state of amusement by the other people in the TARDIS and nodded. "It's fine by me. I am going to give you one warning. Hold on tight." He said to the big man that stood in the room. "You don't have to go. I mean, it would be one big party in here if we all traveled to your home in the TARDIS. But whatever works best for you."
Rose rolled her eyes at the Doctor, but grinned anyways. "What he said. Hold on tight, because it's like nothing you've ever experienced before in your life," she said.
Alice offered a smile, "It's fine, someone has to do it - the Jeep can't stay in the woods all night, someone might find it, though unlikely. Besides, I could use some fresh air," she said pointedly to Emmett, her hand going to her head in a small gesture to help him understand she felt a vision coming on.
Emmett nodding, understanding what Alice was trying to say. "Be careful, Pixie," he said. "And don't speed!"
Lynda walked over to Emmet and whispered. "You can tell him, he's not exactly human either" She told him.
The Doctor walked to the main console of the TARDIS and looked at the occupants inside, a grin appearing on his face. He turned some knobs and pressed buttons, but didn't start the TARDIS since Alice was still inside. "Alright, prepare yourselves. This is going to be a ride you will never forget." He said.
Alice waved goodbye to the Doctor and Rose, "I'll see you soon... " To Lynda she gave her a smile, "Told you we'd find them for you," and to Emmett she said, "I never speed!" she said with a laugh and a lie. The, turning, she left the 'TARDIS' and with instant speed, threw out of the clearing and into the trees towards the Jeep to disappear into the night as if she had never been there.
Lynda bounced. "We going now?" She asked as she bounced back over to the Doctor and clung.
Emmett shook his head after Lynda left his side. What did she mean by that statement that was whispered to him just moments before the girl bounded back over to the Doctor? He leaned against the wall - nothing in the world could break him unless his head was ripped off, so he didn't really feel the need to hold on tight.
The Doctor grinned his trademark grin at Lynda as she clung to him and gave her a hug before looking at Emmett and Rose, and his eyes rested on her for several moments as he brought the TARDIS back to life, and felt the familiar shake as it went through time. "Now this is real livin' right here, mates." He said as he stopped the TARDIS when it finally landed. "If my calculations are correct, we are your home." He said to Emmett.
Rose rolled her eyes at Lynda, looking at her friend cling to the Doctor. She was jealous of her, but stood her ground as hands were shoved deep into the pockets of the jeans that she was wearing. "Give it a push," she said, nodding over at Emmett. "It's open."
Lynda bounded back over to Emmett, she was full of energy. "You might want to tell him before we go in, he's...um...smart." She whispered to him again.
Emmett nodded this time, agreeing to tell them. "Before we go in the house," he started. "There is something you should know about me and the rest of my family - Alice included." Emmett tried to be as subtle as possible for the two humans - or one human and one not-so-human - people that stood before him that didn't know the secret. "My family and I...We're different than regular humans. We're different than others of our kind, too. You see, we're vampires. But you have nothing to fear. We don't hurt humans, unlike some of our race, who continue to feed off of you. Instead, we drink animal blood, and call ourselves vegetarians."
The Doctor looked over at Emmett as he spoke and an interested look came on his face. "Vampires? Living in the world of humans? That's fantastic. Somehow I could tell you were not as human as you let on. But I am very interested in knowing more about your family and all that, but I must say that all I know about vampires are the ones that are in books and in movies. And I think this is a good opportunity for me to say that I am not human. To put it lightly, I am a Time Lord. What you are standing in is my ship. The outside is made to confuse people so they won’t go inside. And I can travel forward and backward in time, millions of years forward and backward. Rose here is my companion and travels with me. She loves it as much as I do." He said with a smile.
"And I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon, Doctor," Rose said with a grin as she moved to stand beside the Time Lord. "Like I had mentioned before, it's a TARDIS. It stands for Time and Relative Dimension In Space. And yes, I do love it as much as the Doctor does. Been with him though a lot of things - and every time he's saved me if I ever got into trouble," she continued, recalling all the adventures that they had - saving, or sometimes destroying - the world.
Lynda suddenly looked down in shame. "I..I guess we should go inside." She said sadly as she made her way to the door and opened it to see the inside of the house.
Emmett exited the time and space machine and looked to find that they were in the living room. "We're home!" he called out to his family. "All four of us! Safely!"
The Doctor laughed at Emmett's comment and looked at him. "Where did you expect us to be? In Gallifrey?" He said with a laugh and then wrapped an arm around Rose and smiled at her. "I wouldn't expect any less of you, Rose. Saving and sometimes destroying the world is what we live for." He said with a grin. "Now then, let's meet everyone else and see what the heck is going down."
She blushed, a slight crimson creeping into her cheeks as the Doctor wrapped one of his arms around her. "Of course you wouldn't," Rose commented. "Because you've shown me things I would have never lived - or wasn't even thought of yet - to see. The Dalek...The end of the world...Going back to meet Charles Dickens and save Cardiff that one time...The list could go on and on."
Lynda had already left the TARDIS and went to find everyone else, ignoring Emmett's sudden excitement and trying to hide her sudden lack of excitement. "Where is everyone?"
Esme entered the room after hearing a noise like nothing she had ever heard before and stopped once she spotted the TARDIS in the living room. Getting over her shock, she smiled at the rest of the group and Emmett. "I see you have made it back safely. This Doctor certainly knows how to make an entrance, doesn't he? Where is Lynda?" She asked looking around and not seeing Lynda with the rest of the group.
Carlisle was about to walk into the living room when he almost ran into Lynda. "You made it back," he said with a smile. "Are your friends okay? The Doctor and Rose?" he asked hopefully.
Rosalie walked into the living room from being outside and then smiled when she saw that Emmett made it back safely and then her eyes widened in shock when she saw the TARDIS. "Okay, what is that?"
Alice walked into the door of the front of the house, after having driven home, with one hand on the wheel and another on paper scribbling. After parking in the garage, she went into the house to find the box they had called the TARDIS in the middle of the living room. "Well, I see you've made it. Interesting how that fits in our living room. How was your ride, Emmett - better than the Jeep?" She turned as Rose entered the room, "Its their choice of travel, like the expensive cards are ours," she replied with a tiny smirk.
"Not quite better than the Jeep, Pixie," Emmett grinned at Alice. "But it was quite an experience! You have to come along the next time we go somewhere! It's...amazing. I've never been on anything like it."
The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS with a smile on his face after hearing what Emmett said. "Nothing is as amazing as flying through the skies in the TARDIS." he said and then noticed new faces in the room. "Hullo! I'm the Doctor." He said as he waved.
Rose brought a hand up to her face while shaking her head, her nose rubbing against the palm of her hand. "I can't believe he did that. I cannot believe he just did that," she muttered to herself. She took her hand away from her face and stepped outside of the big blue box. "And I'm Rose," she said. "I travel with the Doctor."
Lynda forced a smile, though it wasn't entirely convincing. "I'm fine thank you" She said, yet another lie. "They're all in the front rom."
Esme tried not to laugh at the Doctor's introduction and smiled. "Nice to meet you. I'm Esme, and that blonde staring in awe of your... ship is Rosalie." She said.
He nodded. "Well, we need to get going then to start this meeting. We'll get them caught up to speed on what's been going on," Carlisle said, taking the lead back toward the living room.
Rosalie turned from looking at the TARDIS and looked at Rose and the Doctor hesitantly. "Nice to meet you." She said.
Alice's head hurt, so for once she took a seat on the couch near the TARDIS and let out a human like sigh. She rubbed at her temples. "So, has all the introductions been made?" she asked.
"Not yet. We're waiting for Carlisle to get back here. Plus, has anyone seen or heard from Bella, Edward, and Nessie? They need to be here, too," Emmett said. "Unless they went hunting."
He walked around, vastly interested in the openness of the house, though he had an indication the rest of the house would be the same. "Well, we can wait for him. I don't mind waiting. Who is Bella, Edward and Nessie?" He asked.
Rose hung by the TARDIS, letting the Doctor do his thing of the looking around. "Don't mind the Doctor," she explained. "He's always doing this. Even when I first met him he came to my flat and looked around."
Lynda let Carlisle lead her back to the front room where she hung back away from everyone.
"Hello, everyone," Carlisle said as he entered the room. "Sorry I'm the last one in, but it seems that Lynda here was looking for me," he smiled over at her. "Or avoiding this all together. However, it's crucial that we have this meeting of the minds, so to speak."
Esme smiled when Carlisle came into the room and then tilted her head, upon seeing Lynda and walked over to her. "Are you alright, Lynda? You seem upset." She said softly, and then turned to everyone. "Well, let's get this underway. Let's have this.. How did you put it love? 'Meeting of the Minds?'" She said her voice showing a bit of teasing.
Rosalie leaned against the doorframe that lead towards the kitchen and crossed her arms and looked at her family as well as the newcomers. "Let's get this over with." She said, more to herself than anyone else.
Alice nodded towards Rosalie. She too, wanted this "over with". She'd like her mind to stop being invaded with visions of death and destruction if possible. Sure, she liked to know things but this.... this just wasn't fun. Like being able to bet and win because you knew the outcome ahead of time. This was different.
Emmett walked over to where Rosalie stood, and wrapped his arms around her waist, gently kissing her cheek while waiting for Carlisle to start the meeting. "Sorry if I smell human," he whispered in her ear. "Took Lynda on a running piggy-back ride to the field instead of her walking," he continued, pulling her close to him.
The Doctor walked around the living room, picking up random things and examining them and smiled when he saw Carlisle enter the room and nearly dropped the vase, but caught it in time. "Yes, lets get this meeting underway. First off, what is this thing I hear about a war coming?" He didn't want to admit it, but it worried him, but he tried not to show it.
Rose was already worried about this war that was coming, and what Alice tried to explain in the TARDIS while they were still at the baseball field just puzzled her as far as the other box of visitors. She didn't want to lose Lynda or the Doctor in the battles that were about to come, and she, herself, was afraid. But much like the Doctor, Rose did her best not to show that emotion. It was time to put on a brave face.
Lynda forced a smile with Esme and nodded, but she could tell the woman didn't buy it. "Thank you Ma'am" She whispered as she inadvertently leaned against the cool skinned woman.
Esme smiled at Lynda when she leaned against her and wrapped an arm around her, in a motherly fashion. "You're welcome, sweetheart. Please, call me Esme. Calling me Ma'am makes me feel old fashioned." She said with a light laugh.
Carlisle nodded, first to the Doctor then to the blonde haired girl that stood by the box. "I'm Doctor Carlisle Cullen," he spoke in a warm tone. Somber, yes. But also had a bit of warmth to it. "And my family, two of which you have already met. The others are Esme, my wife, and Rosalie, my other daughter," he said. "There is a war coming, but Bella and Edward should also be here for this, as it involves Bella's father, Charlie."
Sure enough Edward would enter, following right behind him like a cute lost puppy, his other half and world--Bella. He glanced around until he spotted his father. Edward already knew what was going on, so many different thoughts rushing at him like a wave it was nearly overwhelming."Carlisle..." He called out lowly, grasping at Bella's petite hand almost tugging her along like a rag doll. He knew this was not going to best time for her, he hadn't had the 'heart' to tell her what exactly is going on concerning her father.
Bella took Edward's hand, and followed him into the room, catching a glimpse of a blue box in the middle of the room. "What is that?" she asked.
Rosalie looked up when Bella came in and leaned against Emmett who stood behind her. She gave them a slight smile. "It's the Doctor's space ship I guess. He's the guy with the leather jacket standing with the other blonde girl." She said, fighting not to roll her eyes at Rose. Emmett grinned slightly at his 'brother' and Bella. "Hey Eddie. Hey Bells," he greeted them. "That, what Rose - the blonde girl - said earlier, is a TARDIS," Emmett said. "It's - like Rosalie said - a space ship and time machine rolled into one, and it's what Rose and the Doctor use as their transportation."
"What Emmett said. It really stands for Time and Relative Dimension Inside Space. But it would be too long of a name to say that, so TARDIS is fine. I am a time traveler of sorts. If you want to be more specific, a Time Lord. I travel in time. It's a tough job, but someone has to." He explained to the newcomers in the room.
Rose nodded in agreement with the Doctor. "And I'm his companion of sorts," she said. "And before any of you ask - it's not a sexual relationship that we have," the blonde haired girl continued, as she pushed a piece of hair behind her ear.
Lynda sunk back a bit then stepped forward. "And I would have been, but I somehow...well it makes no sense." She said with a shrug. "I have heard a lot about you...That is if you are Bella and Edward..?"
Esme still kept an arm around Lynda and smiled. "Yes, that is Edward and Bella." She said. "It's about time they made their presence. I was beginning to wonder where they disappeared to."
Carlisle smiled at Edward and Bella, just like he had done so many times before. "Lynda, I'd like to introduce you to one of my other sons, Edward, and my daughter-in-law, Bella," he said, introducing her to two of the other members of his family.
Edward looked over to Emmett and Rosalie as they explained what the TARDIS is and the people accompanying said TARDIS, also who they were. He found it all strange at the first, then again he and his family were vampires who was he to judge. "I see...” He looked over to Esme and Lynda whom he already knew about it. His hand rests on the small of Bella's back, rubbing at the side of his head."A lot has happened...probably a bit too much. I take it that there are more of you?" He looked over to Rose and the man standing next to her the ninth doctor.
Bella looked over to the direction of Lynda and managed a slight smile. "Our daughter, Renesmee - Nessie as we call her - will be here soon," she said, looking at her first, then over toward the man and woman called the Doctor and Rose."
Renesmee, otherwise known as Nessie, walked through the door of the house. Following the sounds she wandered into the living room where a large box stood. "Okay, I know we do weird a lot but this is beyond even our definition of weird," she said her eyes wide and narrowed on the strange thing. "What's going on?" she asked, looking around to her parents, then to Alice, Rose, her grandparents, and everyone else.
The Doctor looked up as Nessie walked in the room and laughed at her comment. "Your grandfather is going to explain that in a minute. But I think my ship is definietly out of this world, not to mention weird, but I am a weird type of guy. I guess that is how I like it. Now that everyone is here, can we have an explanation of what is going on?" He asked.
Rosalie laughed when she heard her niece’s voice and shook her head. "When have we not experienced anything that was weird and out there, Nessie? But the thing you are looking at is the guy in the leather jacket's space ship. He's here because one of his friends, Lynda somehow came here through a rift and now there is a war, which Carlisle is trying to get to." Rosalie explained.
Alice gave Nessie a genuine smile when she saw her enter. One thing that could always cheer her up and lift her spirits was her niece. They were blessed more for having her around. "Yes, I was about to explain when your parents came in, but its better that we're all here so I don't have to continuously repeat myself..."
Emmett grinned over at Nessie when she entered the room. "Hey lake monster," he greeted her before Alice spoke. "You'll have to repeat yourself for Jasper," Emmett pointed out. "It looks like he's gone hunting again - or he didn't want to be around the humans when they arrived."
The Doctor looked up as Nessie walked in the room and laughed at her comment. "Your grandfather is going to explain that in a minute. But I think my ship is definitely out of this world, not to mention weird, but I am a weird type of guy. I guess that is how I like it. Now that everyone is here, can we have an explanation of what is going on?" He asked.
Rose rolled her eyes slightly at the Doctor, not wanting to face palm again. "You were born weird, I swear," she muttered quietly, but knowing that the Doctor could hear it. "Yes, please explain. We'd like to know before the end of the world comes and we won't be able to save it."
Lynda just decided this wasn't her deal so she stepped back. "Okay...Can we focus now?"
Esme nodded in agreement with Lynda and looked at everyone in the room. "I am in agreement with Lynda here. Let's focus on what is going on and then we all can talk and what not." She said.
Carlisle moved towards Esme, letting Alice have the floor as he took his wife's hand. "Alice," he said. "The floor is all yours."
