Sam chuckled when Teyla invited Daniel to meet her people. If he went, he was going to be in for a hell of a time, especially if he was indeed given some of the Ruus wine. If he had thought his drunkenness last night was bad...
"Thanks, Teyla," she said, taking the tablet from her. Have a good trip."
Once they were gone, she looked over at Daniel with a laugh when he mentioned Ronon's size. "And Teyla can put him on his ass easily," she told him. "She's also the city's unofficial martial arts instructor, and the first time she beat him to the mat, he was livid. I think it was love at first sight."
She took his arm when he asked what she was going to show him next and propelled him down the corridor. "By the way, if you do meet the Athosians, I would suggest skipping the wine unless you want a really bad hangover. I tried just a taste of it when I meet the Athosian elders, and it was really strong."
Reaching a curve in the corridor, Sam smiled and hit a button on a nearby control panel to open the door there. Beyond it was a balcony over looking the rest of the city and the ocean spreading out beyond it for miles and miles. They stepped out, a breeze ruffling Sam's hair.
