Sam groaned softly at Daniel and Caitlin and rubbed her temple as she looked over at Carson. Of course, she knew that if both of them had been sober, they wouldn't be acting this way, but at the moment, they were dealing with two very drunk, very hurt people. Never mind that they had very much been a part of their respective break-ups. Hell, Sam knew that if she'd had a choice, she would never had broken up with Daniel, but what had happened hadn't left her with a choice.
"I didn't do a bloody thing to her," Carson huffed when Daniel accused him of having hurt Cait. He crossed his arms, and when Cait said that they didn't them, Sam saw the look of hurt that crossed his face.
Oh God, what were they doing?
"All right, we're not going to discuss this while you two are in the state you're in," she told them softly. "You two know us better than this."
Walking over to Daniel, she helped him from the couch, looking at him as she did and feeling her heart skip. When it happened she glanced over at Carson, guilt washing through her.
Oh God, what were they doing?
"Come on." Her voice was soft. "Daniel can sleep in my quarters, and Caitlin can sleep in yours, Carson."
He nodded, and together, they helped them from her office to the transporter, taking them to their quarters to get water in them and then into bed.
