Daniel ignored everything around him as he continued to kiss Sam. If he were sober, he would feel embarrassed at the moment but he didn't care. All Daniel cared about was showing Sam how much better he was than Carson. And, once she saw he was, she would love him again, he was sure.
When she pushed him away, Daniel gave her a hurt look. Before he could say anything else, he was being pushed toward her office. As he was sitting down on her couch, he heard Caitlin scolding Carson.
"Don't call me "love"! You don't get to call me that anymore because you're marrying someone else," Caitlin huffed before she sat down beside Daniel.
"She's right. Both of you...are mean! How would you feel if I suddenly announced I was marrying Caitlin, huh? Both of you get to sit here in Atlantis, being happy while Caitlin and I are stick in a brick building," Daniel said before he roughly crossed his arms. "I found the stupid Gate address for this place!"
"And I was here during the first year! The first year! When we didn't have a Gate and could've died!" Caitlin pointed out as she squeezed her hand. "Daniel, I'm bleeding."
Daniel took her hand and frowned. "Did one of them hurt you? It was Carson, wasn't it?" he asked before he turned and glared at Carson. "They don't want us here."
